As soon as you’ve discovered how to stay away from the  infamous “red-eye” effect, there are still several ways  to generate better  images. Camera backdrop, composition, exposure  levels, and so on… taking photos is really a never  ending, exciting journey.

Maybe you’ve been capturing  photos which you  KNOW ought to have worked out quite a lot better than they do? It occurs to all of us – including the  expert shooters.

Here are 5 digital camera and camera backdrop  steps that can assist you to go from novice to  unquestionable mastery of film or digital  photography, it doesn’t matter what type of camera you use.

1. Compose With Care

Probably the most elementary of digital photography  secrets is to devote  consideration to what is within the frame  of your viewfinder. Your complete frame. (It really is  remarkable how few of us do!) Be aware of all four corners, look for things  which can look like “Antlers” sticking out of your models head and damage  the photograph!

Fill up the frame with your subject matter!

Take note of the camera backdrop! Featureless blue sky,  as an example, behind just one  subject throws off the color balance of the photograph and decreases visual interest.

Be aware of the innate shape of the  subject matter. Does it look more horizontal? Shoot it that way… And then we test  out a little experiment… rotate the camera verticle to see  whether a vertical shot might have more  effect than a horizontal shot of the same  model.

Sample shooting a vertical  model – horizontally! Who knows? It might turn out  amazing!

You may also try positioning the  model off to the edge, in lieu of in the center of the photo.

2. Shoot Great Close up Pictures

If the lens or the camera has a “macro mode” – imagine it as a super magnifying glass. An extreme close up of  something like flower petals can bring out textures which you never knew were there, and  more importantly will insert excitement to your  images. Play with this feature, you will discover  dozens of ways to apply it to enhance the pictures.

3. Buy a Tripod

Hazy images result if your hands  move even a little bit. The way to fix it is to stay away  from slow shutter speeds. Faster speeds “freeze” the subject  matter.

But, when you avoid  slow shutter speeds, you’re eliminating a  enormous proportion of your creative  options! What to do? Get a tripod.

Use one which is light and easily  portable. If you get sick of lugging it around, you’ll begin leaving it (along with a lot of  your creative choices)  in the car.

4. Get Imaginative

Stop shooting everything at eye height!

Rise up far above the ground, down near to the ground, make your  photograph from the top of a teeter-totter, swinging on a tire, off the side of the ship, while  spinning around!

Thoughts out of the box can really pay off in  unforeseen ways. You might truly  make once in a lifetime photographs as  a result of adding a small amount of  creativeness to your thoughts.

5. Use a pro camera backdrop

Certainly one of the most important  contrasts between beginner and  professional level work often  is the camera backdrop. Employing a pro camera backdrop may be  the fastest and easiest way to instantaneously take your picture  taking, into a complete new plane.

For the fundamentals, you will need a  solid black, pure white and several other  assorted “Old Masters” design camera backgrounds. The commercially  made, professional level camera backdrop can cost hundreds of dollars…  but they really are easy  to produce yourself so save your valuable money.

And no, you need not be a professional  shooter to work with pro camera backdrops.  Nevertheless, you WILL appear like you are a  pro!
